Governor Sanwo-Olu Ends Work-From-Home Policy for Lagos Civil Servants
Governor Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has revoked the work-from-home arrangement for civil servants, mandating full on-site work from 1 April 2025.

The initiative, introduced in February 2024, allowed workers from levels 1 to 14 to operate from their offices three days a week, aimed at mitigating economic hardship. However, the policy has now been scrapped following the implementation of a new minimum wage and other welfare measures for state employees.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Head of Service, Bode Agoro, confirmed the decision, urging workers to rededicate themselves to their duties. He emphasised the need for improved service delivery across all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.
