Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has inaugurated a newly constructed bridge and an extensive network of roads in Alimosho Local Government Area, a development aimed at easing travel and enhancing the economic prospects of the region.
The commissioned projects include the Babafemi Dada Bridge, along with the Yinka Folarin, Jamiu Lawal, and Shalom Academy road networks. These infrastructure upgrades are expected to significantly improve access and mobility for residents and businesses alike.

Speaking at the event on Monday, Governor Sanwo-Olu lauded the efforts of his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, and Olufemi Daramola, the Special Adviser on Infrastructure, alongside other key officials, for their dedication in bringing the initiative to fruition.
The 1.57-kilometre road network features a semi-rigid pavement design and strategically connects LASU-Iba Road via Idowu Egba Bus Stop to Candos Road and Academy Bus Stop in the Baruwa Community. This alternative route is set to cut travel time and provide a more efficient link for motorists navigating the area.
