Nasarawa State governor, Abdullahi Sule, has urged his fellow governors to assume full responsibility for security, arguing that the scale of revenues now available to states leaves no room for excuses.
Speaking at the Northern Nigeria Investment and Industrialisation Summit in Abuja, he noted that monthly allocations to the three tiers of government have quadrupled under President Bola Tinubu’s reforms, with more than ₦2.2 trillion shared this month alone. He insisted that state governments now have the resources to safeguard their people and drive development.
