A political pressure group, Action Collective, has urged Senate President Godswill Akpabio to directly respond to concerns raised by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan over alleged restrictions on her right to be heard in the Senate.
The group warned that ignoring the issue could undermine public trust, noting that both Nigerians and the international community are watching closely.
In a statement signed by National Coordinator Teddy Onyejuwe, Action Collective criticised what it called attempts to deflect attention from the core issue through political maneuvering.

The group insisted that Akpabio must provide a clear response rather than allegedly stifling dissenting voices in the Senate.
It called on civil society, human rights groups, and international observers to remain vigilant, warning that any perceived suppression of parliamentary voices could damage the credibility of Nigeria’s legislative institutions.
