At least seventy-three residents have been abducted following coordinated attacks by armed bandits on Buzugu and Rayau villages in Bukkuyum Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
Reports say the gunmen, armed with sophisticated weapons, stormed the communities around 2:45 a.m. on October 18, whisking away villagers to an unknown destination. Security agencies are said to be working with local vigilante groups to rescue the victims and restore normalcy in the area.
