Gunmen Abduct Churchgoers in Ondo State

Suspected terrorists have attacked the Isanlu–Isin–Omu Aran road in Kwara State, abducting at least four travellers on the busy highway. The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday along the major route linking communities in Kwara South to the state capital, Ilorin.

A source familiar with the attack said armed men ambushed motorists, forcing vehicles to stop before taking some passengers to an unknown location. The source added that the attackers operated freely on the road and warned that armed groups remain active in the area.
