Celebrity chef Hilda Baci has become a three-time Guinness World Records holder after being certified for the largest serving of rice. The new recognition follows her earlier record for the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice.
Guinness World Records confirmed that during her June 2025 attempt, an additional milestone was identified after a review of the guidelines. Andrew Fanning of the GWR creative team said the achievement was awarded proactively, as the same effort also met the criteria for the largest serving of rice.
According to Guinness World Records, the feat involved a dish weighing 8,780 kilograms and was achieved by Hilda Baci and food brand Gino in Victoria Island, Lagos, on September 12, 2025. The event took place at Eko Hotels and Suites and drew support from celebrities, dignitaries and members of royalty.
