The Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, HURIWA, has praised President Bola Tinubu’s appointment of Peter Ogbonna Eze as Federal Character Commission Commissioner for Enugu State.
HURIWA’s National Coordinator, Mr. Emmanuel Onwubiko, called the move strategic amid concerns over marginalisation and regional imbalances. He said Eze’s background in legislation, governance and business equips him to promote fairness in the distribution of national opportunities.

Mr. Eze was described as a ‘shining example’ for Nigerian youths, with achievements in governance, finance, logistics and management.

The group said an effective FCC is vital for unity, cohesion and equitable development, and expressed optimism the new team would address long-standing grievances nationwide.
