The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has appointed CSP Benjamin Hundeyin as the new Force Public Relations Officer. He takes over from DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, who praised his successor’s experience and professionalism.
Officer Hundeyin, a graduate of Lagos State University with advanced studies in criminology and security psychology, has also received training in civil-military coordination. His professional affiliations include membership of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations and the International Public Relations Association.

He previously served as Police spokesperson for Zone 2 Command in Lagos, later holding the same role for the Lagos State Command. Hundeyin was also part of Nigeria’s contingent to the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in Darfur, Sudan, and has worked at Force Headquarters in Abuja.
