Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho is expected to leave Sevilla this summer, with newly-promoted LaLiga side Real Oviedo emerging as a potential destination.
The 28-year-old forward, who joined Sevilla last year, has struggled for game time and was loaned to Middlesbrough, where his form also dipped. Despite scoring in pre-season under new coach Matias Almeyda, he was not registered for Sevilla’s opening league match against Athletic Bilbao.

Reports suggest Oviedo are keen to add attacking quality and see Iheanacho as an affordable option, with Sevilla open to bids of around €3m. However, Turkish clubs Besiktas and Samsunspor are also in the race and could outbid the Spaniards.
Iheanacho’s future remains uncertain, but Sevilla are expected to sanction his departure before the transfer window closes.
