Ikorodu City lost 4‑0 to Bendel Insurance at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City on Sunday, ending their three‑game unbeaten run.
Bendel Insurance’s Alex Oweilayefa scored a hat‑trick, while Wisdom Udom added another goal.
Ikorodu City technical adviser, Bright Ozebagbe, attributed the defeat to carelessness and missed opportunities during the match.

Ozebagbe assured that the team will address the lapses, adding that while they are not under pressure to win the league, they aim to remain competitive.
