The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has presented the certificate of return to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the Ondo State governorship election.
The ceremony, held at INEC headquarters in Abuja, was attended by Governor Aiyedatiwa, who is also the incumbent governor, his deputy, the APC national chairman, and other party leaders from Ondo State. INEC described the election as a true reflection of the will of the people.

Governor Aiyedatiwa was declared the winner of Saturday’s election, securing 366,781 votes to defeat his closest rival, Agboola Ajayi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who polled 117,845 votes.
