Nigeria’s Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has begun a two-day visit to Enugu and Ebonyi states to inspect federal projects and engage stakeholders.
Arriving at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, on Thursday, Mr Idris toured ongoing and completed works before meeting Governor Peter Mbah. He described Enugu as a strategic state in the South-East and praised President Bola Tinubu’s reforms, including fuel subsidy removal, as measures unlocking funds for development.

Governor Mbah credited recent infrastructure progress to federal policy changes and thanked the president for concessioning the Enugu airport, pledging the state’s support for the administration’s agenda.
