Education Minister, Tahir Mamman, says the integration of robotics education into the basic education curriculum enriches students’ academic experience.
Speaking in Abuja while declaring open the First Lego League National Robotics Championship, Minister Mamman, who was represented by the Director of Technology and Science Education Department at the Ministry, Mrs. Muyibat Olodo, the Minister said the development would bring students up to par with 21st-century technology and education standards.

According to him, it would also equip students with the necessary skills to thrive in the digital world.
The event which runs from 24th to 26th January, 2024 is organised by the Federal Ministry of Education in collaboration with Coderina Education and Technology Foundation.
