The Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has called for a free, fair, credible and inclusive governorship election in Anambra State scheduled for November 8, 2025. It urged the Independent National Electoral Commission to provide a level playing field for all parties and candidates.
In a statement marking Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary, the council hailed the country’s democratic journey and commended the founding fathers for their sacrifice in securing freedom from colonial rule.

IPAC urged Nigerians to use the anniversary for sober reflection and to rededicate themselves to the service of the nation, reminding citizens that Nigeria remains their only country.
The umbrella body of all registered political parties reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable democracy and national development.
