IPAC holds roundtable on democratic sustainability, seeks judicial reform

The first council round table of the  Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), themed “the role of the judiciary in Nigeria’s democratic stability” held yesterday in Abuja. 

Speaking at the event, the National Chairman of IPAC, Yusuf Mamman Dantalle  stressed the importance of strengthening Nigeria’s democracy through an independent and vibrant judiciary.

Dantalle added that the vision of the roundtable is to help foster successful elections, political stability and peaceful electoral process.

While speaking, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, acknowledged the role of the judiciary in sustaining democracy, noting that despite current challenges, there are opportunities for judicial reforms in the interest of the nation.
