Iran Warns of Attacks After Trump Ultimatum

Iran has warned it may target regional energy and water infrastructure if US President Donald Trump carries out his threat to strike Iranian power plants over the Strait of Hormuz. Trump had demanded the strait be fully reopened within 48 hours.

The Israeli military reports more missile launches from Iran towards its territory, with air defence systems actively intercepting the attacks. 

Despite the killings of senior Iranian leaders by US and Israeli forces, Tehran insists its leadership structure remains resilient. Analysts say the system is designed to continue functioning even with the loss of top figures, allowing the government to withstand ongoing military pressure.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah has also claimed rocket and drone strikes on Israeli forces in southern Lebanon, hitting multiple positions near the border.
