The Israeli military has confirmed the safe return of seven hostages released by Hamas under the first phase of the Trump-brokered ceasefire agreement. The Israel Defense Forces said the freed captives were handed to the Red Cross in Gaza City before being escorted into Israeli territory by IDF and Shin Bet officers.
The hostages, identified as Matan Angrest, brothers Gali and Ziv Berman, Alon Ohel, Eitan Mor, Guy Gilboa-Dalal, and Omri Miran, are undergoing medical checks.

The IDF said it is prepared to receive more hostages later today, with 13 additional captives expected to be freed from various parts of Gaza.
