Israeli Delegation To Travel To US At Biden’s Request For Talks On Rafah

The office of Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, says the Minister of Strategic Affairs, Ron Dermer, and National Security Adviser, Tzachi Hanegbi, will travel to Washington DC to discuss Israel’s planned ground offensive on Rafah.

This announcement follows a request for the meeting by the US Biden administration, which has repeatedly said that it has still not seen any concrete plans for the protection of civilians, something that it says is required in order to support any potential offensive on the city.
