Israeli forces have killed at least two Palestinians in Gaza City as violations of the United States-brokered ceasefire continue. The attack in the Shujayea neighbourhood brings the total reported deaths in the past 24 hours to 12, according to local media.
The Gaza Government Media Office said Israel has breached the ceasefire 875 times since it came into effect on October 10. Violations include air and artillery strikes, demolitions of homes and infrastructure, and at least 265 incidents of troops shooting civilians.
Humanitarian conditions in Gaza remain critical. Winter storms have worsened the situation for displaced families, with only 17,819 of the 43,800 trucks carrying aid allowed into Gaza since the ceasefire. Many displaced families lack adequate food, shelter, and medical supplies.

The United Nations has urged Israel to lift restrictions on aid deliveries, highlighting the urgent need for tents, bedding, and winter clothing for more than 1.3 million displaced people. UN officials warn that continued fighting and limited access to aid are exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
