The Israeli military has demolished another high-rise in Gaza City, its second such strike in two days. The Sussi Tower was reduced to rubble, with the Israeli Defence Forces insisting it was being used by Hamas – a claim firmly denied by the group. Defence Minister Israel Katz shared footage of the collapse online, declaring that operations would continue.
Ahead of the strike, Israel once again urged civilians to move south to al-Mawasi, which it describes as a humanitarian zone. Officials said the area would provide water, food, and medical care. The UN, however, has warned that conditions there are dire, with overcrowded tents and hospitals at breaking point.

Civilians remain at the centre of the crisis. On Tuesday, five children were killed while queuing for water in al-Mawasi. Witnesses blamed an Israeli drone strike, which the military said it was reviewing.
