Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip have killed at least 14 Palestinians, including five children, according to medical sources. The strikes occurred on Thursday, despite a United States-brokered ceasefire agreement that came into effect in October.
Medical sources said at least four people were killed when tents sheltering displaced families were hit in the al-Mawasi area of southern Gaza. Another strike in the Zeitoun neighbourhood of Gaza City reportedly killed four people, while Israeli bombardment was also reported in the Bureij and Nuseirat areas of central Gaza.
In a separate incident, Israeli fire killed an 11-year-old girl, Hamsa Housou, in Jabalia, in northern Gaza. Her uncle, Khamis Housou, said she was found injured inside the family building following the attack and later died from her wounds.
