Israeli forces have hit a hotel in Beirut and residential areas in eastern Lebanon, killing at least 11 people, as military operations continue across the country. The Comfort Hotel on the border of Hazmieh and Baabda was struck on 4th March, 2026, while further attacks targeted Beirut’s southern suburbs, reportedly aiming at Hezbollah infrastructure.

The Israeli military issued new forced displacement orders for residents in 29 towns, adding to the more than 50 towns evacuated since 3rd March, 2026. The army has advanced from seven positions along the Lebanese border, including the town of Khiam, while strikes in Baalbek killed at least five and wounded 15 in a residential area. Lebanese authorities say around 65,000 people are in shelters, with tens of thousands more displaced.
