Israeli Strikes Kill Dozens in Gaza Ahead of Netanyahu-Trump Meeting

At least 32 people have been killed in Israeli air and ground operations across Gaza, according to local health officials, as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu travels to Washington for talks with US President Donald Trump.

The strikes, which resumed following the collapse of a ceasefire with Hamas last month, targeted areas in Khan Younis, Jabaliya and Gaza City. Among the dead were women and children, with hospitals in southern and central Gaza reporting multiple civilian casualties.

In Khan Younis, an airstrike on a tent and nearby house left 15 people dead, while shelling in the Jabaliya refugee camp claimed at least four more lives. A separate strike outside a bakery in Gaza City reportedly killed six, including three children.

Israel has also continued to block the entry of food, fuel and humanitarian aid into the enclave, intensifying pressure on Hamas to agree to a fresh truce and release the remaining hostages.
