Israeli forces have carried out a series of air and ground attacks on southern Lebanon, killing one person, according to Lebanese authorities.
The Israeli military says the strikes targeted a Hezbollah fighter and what it described as militant infrastructure in areas including Bint Jbeil and Kfar Hatta.
The attacks came days after Lebanon’s army announced it had completed the first phase of disarming Hezbollah south of the Litani River, a move Israel says is insufficient.
