Israeli forces have intensified operations in eastern Gaza City, killing at least 11 people overnight in air and tank strikes, local health officials say.
Eight died when tank fire struck a home in Zeitoun, while further shelling and an airstrike in Shejaia and Tuffah killed three others.
Ambulances could not reach trapped families amid what residents described as “non-stop explosions”.
