Israeli airstrikes have continued across the Gaza Strip on the first day of the Muslim Eid al-Fitr holiday, with many reported killed as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu maintains military pressure on Hamas amid ongoing ceasefire negotiations.
Ten people, including children, were killed on Sunday when airstrikes hit a tent and a home sheltering displaced families in southern Gaza, as Palestinians marked the end of Ramadan.

Meanwhile, the Palestine Red Crescent Society has recovered the bodies of 15 medical workers in Rafah, a week after they came under heavy Israeli fire.
