Israeli strikes on two schools in Gaza have killed at least 15 Palestinians and injured another 30.
This is as renewed evacuation orders were given to residents in several districts in eastern Khan Younis city.
On Thursday, Hind Khoudary reported that many Palestinians were trapped underneath the rubble of the schools, Abdel Fattah Hamoud and al-Zahraa, which were sheltering Palestinian families in the Tuffah district of Gaza City.
According to another journalist, Ibrahim al-Khalili, two missiles directly hit and destroyed al-Zahraa School, leaving some survivors trapped underneath the rubble. He also said rescue efforts by civil defence crews were frustrated due to a lack of tools.

The Israeli military said the schools in Gaza City housed Hamas command centres.
