At least 20 people have been killed in a wave of Israeli air strikes across Lebanon, including attacks on central Beirut. Lebanon’s health ministry said dozens were also injured on Wednesday as strikes hit the capital as well as southern and eastern regions.
Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that a building in the Bashoura area of Beirut was hit shortly after evacuation warnings were issued. At least six people were killed in the capital, while other strikes in the Bekaa Valley, Sidon and Tyre also caused casualties.

Israel’s military said it had launched what it described as limited ground operations in southern Lebanon and warned residents in several المناطق near the Zahrani River to move north.
