Israel’s opposition leader, Yair Lapid, in a post on X, has said Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s alleged attempts to sabotage the ceasefire negotiations should stop.
Mr Lapid, a former journalist and current leader of the opposition, warned that failure to reach a deal could put the lives of the remaining Israeli captives in jeopardy.
His accusation of Prime Minister Netanyahu’s alleged thwarting of a ceasefire deal, follows reports in the Israeli media that the Prime Minister is working to scuttle those efforts.
