The Governor of Jigawa State, Umar Namadi, has lost his 24-year-old son, Abdulwahab Namadi, who died in a motor accident on Thursday.
Making the announcement in a statement, the governor’s spokesperson, Hamisu Gumel, said the accident occurred along Dutse-Kafin-Hausa road.
His death comes barely 24 hours after the governor’s mother died on Wednesday.

Mr Gumel added that the late Abdulwahab was buried on Thursday evening in Kafin Hausa town according to Islamic rites.
