Former Super Eagles captain Joseph Yobo has emphasised the importance of a strong start for Nigeria at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. Yobo, who led the team to victory at the 2013 tournament in South Africa, believes a solid beginning is key to the Super Eagles’ chances of going all the way in the competition.
Speaking to ESPN, Yobo stressed the significance of the first two games, calling them “very, very crucial.” The three-time African champions are drawn in Group C, alongside Tunisia, Uganda, and Tanzania.
