Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, says he has cancelled this year’s carnival for his 67th birthday on March 3rd.
K1 called on his family and friends to use the occasion to reach out to the less privileged in the society.

In a statement yesterday, he said the decision was informed by the current economic situation in the country.
The musician said he shares in the pains of the people who are praying for survival and sees no reason to celebrate.
