The Kano State government has constituted a high-level delegation to interface with the Edo State Government following the mob attack that led to the killing of 16 northern travellers in Uromi.
Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Ibrahim Waiya, said the team had been tasked with engaging Edo State authorities to identify those responsible and ensure justice for the victims.

He reaffirmed Kano’s commitment to seeking accountability for what he described as a barbaric act.
The victims, mostly hunters, were travelling from Port Harcourt to Kano for Sallah celebrations when they were attacked and accused of kidnapping.
