The Kano State government says it has received 195 truck loads of assorted grains from the Federal Government for distribution across the 44 Local Government Areas of the State.
The gesture is part of the palliative handed out by the Federal Government to alleviate suffering

At a press briefing yesterday, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the spokesperson of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, says the palliative is made up of 100 trucks of 25kg rice, 44 trucks of Sorghum, 14 trucks of Millet, and 41 trucks of Maize.
He added added that the state is still working to procure approximately additional 132 trucks of 25kg of rice to be distributed across the state.
