Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State says the culprits in the killing of soldiers and officers in the state last Thursday will be fished out, as he assured residents of Okuama community in the state of their safety.
Seventeen soldiers were gruesomely murdered in the Ughelli South Local Government Area community last week, triggering a wave of commendation.

Okuama community was razed after the soldiers were killed, and fears of reprisals remain high, but Governor Oborevwori says military authorities have assured him of the safety of residents of the community.
The governor, whose comments came hours after he visited the community in the wake of the incident, says the area has been deserted.
