Music legend, Sunday Adeniyi-Adegeye, better known as King Sunny Ade, has dismissed claims that he is missing, describing the reports as false and malicious.
In a statement issued on Monday, the veteran musician said he is alive, well and grateful for the outpouring of concern from fans, but insisted there was no truth to rumours circulated by individuals he identified as Damilola Esther Adeniyi-Adegeye and her associates.

He urged the public to disregard what he called a ‘fabricated story’ and warned those behind it against further attempts to damage his reputation.
The veteran musician also hinted at possible legal action, urging bloggers and others involved in spreading misinformation to desist or be prepared to face consequences under the law.
