Kogi Auto Crash Kills Five, Leaves Three Injured

The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Kogi State Command, says five people were killed in an accident on the Kabba-Obajana Road in the Kabba Local Government Area of the state.

The FRSC State Sector Commander, Mr Samuel Oyedeji, says three persons survived the crash which involved a Multi-Purpose Vehicle, MPV, and a saloon car on Thursday.

Mr. Oyedeji said the cause of the accident was speeding and wrongful overtaking.

He also said the three injured persons have been moved to the Kabba General Hospital for medical attention, while the corpses have been deposited in the mortuary of the same hospital.

The Sector Commander reminded motorists to always keep to road safety rules and regulations to avoid road crashes.
