Lagos State University, LASU, has confirmed that the Nigerian Education Loan Fund, NELFUND, has begun the disbursement of loans to students whose applications have been approved.
In a statement issued via its official Twitter handle on Sunday, the university revealed that the funds would be deposited directly into the school fees accounts of the beneficiaries.
LASU has urged students who applied for the loans to verify their application status by entering their matriculation numbers in the designated section of its website at lasu.edu.ng/nelfund.

This initiative aims to provide financial support to students and enhance access to education through the NELFUND programme.
