Leeds United are among several Premier League clubs tracking Nigeria international Nathan Tella, currently with Bayer Leverkusen.
The 26-year-old, signed from Southampton in 2023 for €23.3m, helped the German side to a Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal double under Xabi Alonso, but has struggled for regular starts.
Newly promoted Leeds want attacking reinforcements and recently sent scouts to monitor Tella, who can play as a winger or wing-back. Brentford, Brighton, Burnley and Nottingham Forest are also in the race.

Tella has scored 10 goals and registered 11 assists in 79 Leverkusen appearances. A move to England could mean sacrificing Champions League football, but may offer more playing time.
Leverkusen, now under Erik Ten Hag, have already lost several title-winning players, and Tella’s departure would further weaken the squad ahead of the Bundesliga’s 22 August start.
