MarketBuddy, an e-commerce platform dedicated to connecting skilled professionals, artisans, and traditional vendors, was officially launched today in Yaba, Lagos. At the event, CEO and founder Adejuwan Adeboboye highlighted the platform’s goal of bridging the gap between blue-collar workers and their clients.
“The goal of MarketBuddy is to become the number one business connector around Nigeria and Africa which is the aim of this is to connect local businesses both to international clients and local clients and that’s why we came about the vendor space because we discovered there’s a lot of blue-collar workers in Nigeria and they do not have the landscape or you know rich to do business on a global scale. Most of them are limited to their local environment.”
