Mindspace is a Radio Now show that discusses mental health/ illness, and good mental health habits.

In this episode we examine meditation.

Harvard University scientists have come up with evidence that suggests that clearing your mind for 15 minutes, every day alters how your genes operate The study which examined patients over an 8 week period of meditation discovered that they had a striking change in behaviour, with evidence showing a change in brain activities.

To help gain a better understanding of what meditation is, we speak with a psychotherapist to explain the means and benefits of meditation.
