Reality TV star and Big Brother Naija Season 4 winner, Mercy Eke, says she would not hesitate to keep a child conceived outside marriage. Speaking on a recent podcast, she stressed that while she is not actively seeking pregnancy, she would proceed with motherhood if it happened.
Ms. Eke said she hopes to have three children and insisted that stigma around single motherhood largely affects women with limited means, arguing that successful women face less societal pressure. She noted that many single mothers she knows are thriving and still receive marriage proposals.

The television personality added that she is yet to find the qualities she wants in a partner, but believes having a child would not stop her from meeting a suitable man in the future.
