Michael Jackson has once again been named the world’s highest-paid deceased celebrity, topping Forbes’ 2025 list with estimated earnings of $105 million.

The ranking, released on Monday, highlights the top-earning late celebrities based on pretax income from music, publishing, licensing, and estate deals recorded over the past year. This marks the third consecutive year and 13th time overall that Jackson has led the list, with his estate generating about $3.5 billion since his death in 2009.

American author Theodor Seuss Geisel, best known as Dr. Seuss, ranked second with $85 million, followed by British musicians Richard Wright and Syd Barrett, who each earned $81 million.
