Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have neutralised 17 suspected terrorists and disrupted their logistical movement in Borno State, the military said.
The coordinated ambush occurred between the communities of Sojiri and Kayamla after troops received credible intelligence on the movement of terror group logistics supplies.
Acting on the information, soldiers deployed to a designated interception point where the suspected terrorists arrived with materials believed to support their operations.

Military sources said the action supports broader efforts to weaken militant networks and enhance security in the north-east. The operation is part of ongoing efforts to restrict terrorist freedom of movement.
