Miyetti Allah Rejects Terrorism Allegations, Seeks Dialogue

The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) has denied US allegations linking it to terrorism. The group said it is not involved in any violent or extremist activities and described such claims as unfounded.

In a statement, the association said it remains a lawful organisation representing pastoralist interests across Nigeria. Leaders of the group called for diplomatic engagement with the United States following reports of concerns raised about its activities.

The association said it is open to dialogue with international partners to clarify its position. It also urged authorities to distinguish between criminal elements and recognised pastoralist organisations.
