The Acting Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service NIS, Mrs. Caroline Wuraola Adepoju says more passport front offices will be opened in Lagos to address unnecessary delays in processing times.
In a statement issued in Abuja, the NIS Comptroller, Media and Publicity, Tony Akuneme says the immigration head has issued a directive to all passport offices nationwide to ensure that no Nigerian is subjected to any unnecessary delays or unprofessional treatment during the course of their application.

According to the statement, Mrs. Adepoju promises to focus majorly on passport issues and staff welfare.
She says these two matters contributed mostly to the complaints of Nigerians and NIS personnel.
