Morocco has claimed the FIFA Arab Cup with a 3-2 victory over Jordan after extra time in the final in Lusail, Qatar. The match took place at Lusail Stadium on Thursday and crowned Morocco as champions of the tournament.
Morocco took an early lead when Oussama Tannane scored from the centre circle in the fourth minute. Jordan fought back in the second half with two goals from Ali Olwan, including a penalty.
With the match tied late in regulation, Abderrazzaq Hamed Allah scored in the 87th minute to force extra time. Hamed Allah then added the winning goal in extra time to secure the title for Morocco.

Officials said Morocco achieved this success despite missing several Europe-based players and noted the victory adds to a strong year for Moroccan football ahead of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.
