Nigerian musician Blackface has dismissed suggestions that his accusations of intellectual property theft against fellow artists are frivolous. He emphasised that none of those he has accused has refuted the allegations.
In a recent interview, the artist explained that many of his colleagues have drawn inspiration from his work because of his distinctive style. However, he criticised them for failing to give him proper credit.

He also said his creative work was so good that if I were in their shoes, he would probably be influenced by my music too, but the right thing to do is to acknowledge where the inspiration came from.
