Disengaged workers withdrew a total of N7.6 billion from their Retirement Savings Accounts in the second quarter of 2023.
The withdrawals represent 25 percent of their pension contribution.
The second quarter report released by the National Pension Commission reveals that the withdrawals were made due to temporary loss of employment.

The ex-workers had withdrawn N12.7 billion in the first quarter of 2023.
